HIGH ALTITUDE.CLIMATE

IN THE BRANDERTAL VALLEY YOU CAN BENEFIT FROM THE SPECIAL EFFECTS OF THE MOUNTAIN CLIMATE IN THE ALPS.
FROM AN ALTITUDE OF ABOUT 800M, THE CLIMATECHANGES NOTICEABLY.
The high altitute means that the beneficial effects on the body are greater.
traumhafte Winterlandschaft im Brandnertal
The sun is stronger and there is more light, it is cooler (1 degree per 160 meters in the summer, 1 degree Celsius per 280 meters in the winter) and air pressure and humidity also decrease the higher up you go.

People with allergies benefit from these climatic conditions (for instance because the pollen count is lower), and when you do sports and exercise in general, the high altitude means that the beneficial effects on the body are greater.
The two villages of Brand (1,050m) and Bürserberg (1,000m – 1,250m) offer just such a climate  – and in the mountain lodges you can enjoy even higher altitudes.
Brüggele Alp

If you suffer from allergies, why not give your nose some breathing space in spring, improve your physical performance by training at higher altitudes or simply enjoy the autumn days as the wafts of mist cover the valleys and towns of the Alps!

Find out now about the AMAS (Austrian Moderate Altitude) study and the positive effects of a holiday in the mountains.
