The enormous Neolithic stone circles by Bürserberg mountain are full of mystery, and no one knows their true significance.
The astronomical alignment of the stone circles is comparable to all other famous European structures and points to a gigantic calendar system from the Neolithic period (5,000 to 1,900 BC). Place of ritual with a view of a deity made from stone, once recorded by Greek and Roman historians for future generations: Goddess Raetia. She determines the flow of life.
