Buchpräsentation: das Dominikanerinnenkloster St​.​ Peter

With the second edition of his book about St. Peter's Monastery, monastery archivist Anton Rohrer presents a comprehensively expanded account of more than 700 years of monastic history. The occasion for the original publication was the re-establishment of the sister community in 2002 as well as the major renovation of the monastery complex in 2006/2007. The new edition supplements the historical account with developments from 2007 to 2025 and highlights, among other things, the major renovation of the monastery, the interior renovation of the monastery church, changes in the school and kindergarten, the life of the current sister community, as well as the renovation of the nuns' alpine lodge and the restoration of the monastery cemetery. The book and the book presentation thus provide an informative overview of the history and recent developments of St. Peter's Monastery.
